What to do if my Bardiani Control Unit has difficulty opening and closing?
    • S
      sandra06Aug 3, 2025
If your Bardiani Control Unit is experiencing difficulty opening and closing, it could be due to several reasons. One potential cause is an incorrect valve body positioning. To resolve this, disassemble and correctly reposition the valve body. Another cause may be impurities in the actuator. In this case you should perform actuator inspection and maintenance. Also, check the actuator operation, and change from normally open (NO) to normally closed (NC) or vice versa if needed. Another possible reason is incorrect type of elastomer used for the gaskets, so you should replace with a gasket of a different type of elastomer. Finally, it could be due to incorrect positioning of the actuator, in this case you should install the actuator correctly.

An external leak in your Bardiani Control Unit could be due to a worn gasket. If this is the case, replace the seal. Another possible reason is excessive pressure. If excessive pressure is the cause, replace the gasket with a different type of elastomer.
