ELEVATION AIRINTAKE SETTING
INSTALLING THERMOMETER & CLEAT
Properly setting the air-intake
is the key to getting the cooker
to cook at the optimal temp
and to assure there are no are-
ups. Pull the intake slider out to
reveal the dots that represent
your city's elevation. Use Google
to nd your location's elevation.
1 DOT = 0 - 2,000’
2 DOTS = 2,000 - 5,000’
3 DOTS = 5,000 - 8,000’
4 DOTS = 8,000 - 10,000’
As desired, the elevation setting
can be adjusted to let in more
or less air. When the slider is
completely pulled out (showing
4 rows of dots) the air intake is
fully open.
