Mount Lower Drop Rod Bracket

Step 1: Bracket Mounting

Mount the lower drop rod bracket two inches from the bottom edge of the gate using supplied screws, marking and drilling pilot holes.

Step 2: Thread Rod Through Brackets

Thread the drop rod through the upper bracket and then through the installed lower bracket into the receiver hole.

Step 3: Attach Top Bracket

Attach the top bracket to the gate with tabs in locked position, ensuring the drop rod does not drag when opening or closing.
