REPLACEMENT OF EXPANDABLE/RETRACTABLE SLEEP DECK
1. The Expandable/Retractable
- Sleep Deck Assembly includes
- Two (2) identical Head Sections,
- Two (2) identical Knee Sections,
- Two (2) identical Seat Sections,
- One (1) right-hand Foot Section &
- One (1) left-hand Foot Section.
2. Begin by sliding a Knee Section
(999-0881-012) into the long
cylindrical tubes on both sides
of the knee deck. Slide
all the way in.
3. Slide the left-hand Foot
Section (999-0881-011)
into the square tubes
on the left side of
the foot deck.
4. Do the same
for the right-hand
side of the bed with
Foot Section (999-0881-014).
Slide both left and right sides all
the way in.
5. Next, slide a Head Section
(999-0881-013) into the square
tubes on both sides of the
head deck. Slide all the way in.
6. From the outside, insert a small
.5” Carriage Bolt (100-5231-002)
through the square hole in the
Foot Section mounting brackets.
From the inside, screw on a
5/16-18 Lock Nut. Hand tighten.
7. Lastly, slide a Seat Pan Extension
Bracket onto both ends of the seat
pan. The end bracket should set
over end hole in the head section
and knee section.
8. From the outside, insert a small
.5” Carriage Bolt (100-5231-002)
through each square hole in the
Seat Pan mounting brackets and,
from the inside, screw on a 5/16-18
Lock Nut. Tighten all nuts using a
1/2” open wrench or socket.
