This document describes the BAUHN Smart Watch, model AFTW-1221, with product code 707243 12/2021. It serves as a user guide for the device, covering its parts, initial setup, app connectivity, and various functions.
The smart watch features a 1.69-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels. It has an IP67 ingress protection rating, indicating it is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The device is powered by a built-in 3.8V 240mA Li-ion battery, which takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge. The charging base requires a 5V=180mA input. The watch weighs approximately 50g and has dimensions of 38.5 (W) x 43 (H) x 12.2 (D) mm. It supports Bluetooth connectivity with a range of less than 10 meters.
The watch includes a touch screen (1), a side button (2), charging pins (3), and a heart rate sensor (4).
Before initial use, the watch needs to be charged for about 3 hours. To charge, align the watch's charging pins with those on the charging dock; it will snap into position. Connect the charging dock to a USB charging adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. Once fully charged, disconnect the dock. For maintenance, the charging pins should be cleaned weekly with a damp cloth.
To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for 3 seconds.
The watch connects to a smartphone via the "Da Fit" app, available on both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (App Store). Users can search for the app or scan the provided QR codes for installation. To connect, open the Da Fit app, tap "Add A Device," and select "AFTW-1221" from the device list. A "Pair" pop-up window may appear, requiring confirmation. For Android devices, it's important to allow background activity for the app by going to App info > set "allow background activity" to On, and then App info > Battery usage > Battery optimisation, selecting "not optimised." Refer to the "Background Operation Protection Guide" in the Da Fit app for specific mobile models.
The screen can be turned on by raising the arm (if wearing the watch) or by pressing the side button. Pressing the side button again turns off the screen. Swiping right or pressing the side button from any screen exits to the main screen. Note that raising the arm too quickly or slowly may not activate the screen. In the Da Fit app, under "others" menu, "Quick View" must be enabled for the "Raise your arm screen on" feature to work.
