This document describes the Bauhn Smart Watch with Interchangeable Straps, model AFTWS-0521, product code 705652 05/2021. It serves as a user guide, providing instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance.
The Bauhn Smart Watch is a wearable device designed to connect with smartphones (both Android and iOS) to offer a range of features including Bluetooth calls, music playback, activity tracking, health monitoring, and notifications. It comes with interchangeable straps, allowing for customization of its appearance.
Before first use, the watch requires approximately 3 hours of charging. To charge, place the watch on the charging dock, ensuring the charging pins on the watch align with those on the dock. The watch will snap into position when correctly aligned. Connect the charging dock to a USB charging adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. Unplug the dock once fully charged.
The watch connects to the RDFit app, available for download on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). Users can search for "RDFit" in their respective app stores or scan the provided QR codes for direct installation. To connect the watch to the app:
To enable these functions, the watch needs to be connected via Bluetooth in the smartphone's settings.
Raise your arm (if wearing the watch) or press the side button to turn on the screen. Press the side button again to turn off the screen. Pressing the side button or swiping right on any screen will exit or return to the main screen. Note that raising your arm too quickly or slowly may not activate the screen.
Users must allow permissions and enable notification settings on their smartphone's respective applications for watch features to function correctly.
Swipe left on the watch to access the Bluetooth call menu, which includes call history, contact list, and dialer. The watch will prompt connection if not already paired.
From the main menu, tap the running icon to enter the multi-sport screen. Six activities are available: outdoor run, climb, cycle, basketball, ping pong, and football.
Tap the sleep icon on the main menu to enter the Sleep interface. Track sleep patterns and view detailed records in the RDFit app.
Tap the pedometer icon on the main menu to enter the Pedometer interface. The watch tracks steps taken, calories burnt, and distance traveled.
Set alarms on the watch. When the alarm sounds, swipe right to stop or swipe left to snooze.
View messages and app notifications (up to the latest 10) on the watch when connected to a smartphone. App notifications can be configured under "push notifications" in the RDFit app.
When connected to a smartphone, tap the magnifying glass icon on the watch, then the start icon. The smartphone will ring. Tap the watch again to exit.
In the RDFit app, go to Device and set "Take picture" to "on." Tap the camera icon on the watch to use it as a remote for your smartphone camera. Tap the capture icon on the watch screen to take a photo remotely.
Tap the cloud icon to view live weather and a 3-day forecast. The watch must be connected to the RDFit app, and the city can be manually set in the app.
In the RDFit app, under "Device," tap "Search device." The watch will vibrate. Tap "OK" on the watch to stop vibration.
Tap the voice assistant icon to activate Siri (iOS) or Google Assistant (Android). Speak into the microphone for voice commands.
Swipe down from the home screen to access the shortcut menu, allowing adjustments for night mode, lock, brightness, settings, vibration, and volume.
Provides settings for calendar, stopwatch, sedentary reminders, alarm, app download, calculator, and power saving.
Adjust various settings including linking to RDFit app, Bluetooth settings, yoga breathing, clock, notification brightness, sound, volume, display, language, units, motion, power off time, reboot, reset, and "about" information.
Change the watch interface style via the RDFit app. Tap "Device" and select "Transmit dials." Desired styles will be stored under "App download."
To change straps, turn the watch over and push the needle knobs in the direction shown in the illustration. Remove the old straps and fit the new ones.
