Example with activated Right hand mode:
B4 is used to enter "B1, B4"
B5 is used to enter "B2, B5"
B6 is used to enter "B3, B6"
B8 is used to enter "B7, B8"
B0 is used to enter "B9, B0"
B9 is used as key "empty column"
B7 is used as key "collect key"
B1,2,3 can be defined as Macro keys
Macros: all Macros are defined in one single String. Single Macros are
separated by comma ",".
o Example: B23=B0 means, that if you press B2 and B3
simultaneously together, you cause the input of B0 (space).
o Specification of a Macro:
o <List of input key number>
o <List of created braille dots>
o All other characters are ignored.
The One-Hand mode influences only the input of braille dots. You can
enter all kinds of braille combinations. The One-Hand mode is not valid,
if VarioUltra is connected as a braille display with braille keyboard to
other devices.
Some Experiences when the right-hand mode is activated:
o Delete command: You must simultaneously press B9B8 to
backspace-delete the character in a text. Or press B8 key followed
by B9 key. This achieves the same result as pressing the B7 key
on its own, in regular keyboard mode.
o Space command: You must press first B9 key followed by B0 key
to enter the space in a text. This achieves the same result as
pressing the B0 key on its own, in regular keyboard mode.
o Confirm command: You must press first B0 key followed by B9 key
to confirm a button, menu item etc. This has the same result as
pressing the B9 key, in regular keyboard mode.
o Delete current character: You must press first the keys B0, B4, B8
followed by press of B4 key. This has the same result as
command B1B4B7B9, in regular keyboard mode.
o Line feed: You must press first B9 key followed by B8 key. This
achieves the same result as pressing B8 on its own, in regular
keyboard mode.
