1. Refit all the panels, fascias and covers on the indoor and outdoor
units.
2. Switch on the indoor unit.
3. Activate the cooling mode on controller.
4. After 3 minutes, check if air is coming out of the indoor units.
5. Check that there is no abnormal noise coming from the indoor unit
and outdoor unit.
6. Press the other buttons on the controller and check wether the
complete unit is working properly.
7. Activate the heating mode and check if warm air flows out of the
indoor unit and that there is no abnormal noise coming from the units.

Inspection and maintenance operations
Important
Inspection and maintenance operations must be carried out at
least once a year, by a qualified professional.
Check the operation of the installation:
Air conditioner in cooling mode
Air conditioner in heating mode
User interface (remote controller or wall controller)

Tightness test Leak-tightness of the refrigerant circuit (use a sniffer leak detector).
Electrical connections Replace any faulty parts and cables.
Screws and nuts Check all screws and nuts (cover, support, etc.).
Insulation Replace any damaged sections of insulation.
Filters of indoor unit(s) Clean the filters regularly.
Outdoor unit heat exchanger Clean the outdoor unit heat exchanger gently with a soft brush or with a soft jet of
water (no high pressure sprayer or pressures this can damage the heat exchanger).
Casing indoor and outdoor unit(s) Clean the outside of the appliance using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Casing of the outdoor unit Check periodically signs of rust or scratches. Repair the defective position or apply
the rust resisting paint if necessary.
Condensate pan Check the water level in the box. In case of stagnation, clear the siphon or check
the lift pump is operational.
Fan Visual check for swing and balance. Check adhesion of dust and external appear
ance.
Vegetation Remove excessive vegetation around the outdoor unit.
Leaves and snow Remove leaves and snow in the neighbourhood of the outdoor unit.

Error codes
In case of appliance failure, the indoor unit and wired controller will display
an error code.
