Usage Features
- Rechargeable Battery Operation: The BBP94 can operate independently of mains power after its rechargeable battery is fully charged. The operating time varies with mode and ambient temperature. The device can be used while charging. A protective circuit prevents overcharging, but it's recommended to disconnect from mains after full charge to avoid low current consumption. To prolong battery life, recharge fully discharged batteries as soon as possible and regularly recharge during long storage periods.
- DMX Connectivity: Standard DMX-512 controllers can be connected directly. For 5-pin DMX controllers, a 3-pin to 5-pin XLR adapter is required. The DMX chain should be terminated with a 120 Ohm resistor at the last fixture.
- Control Panel: The onboard control panel allows setting the DMX address, selecting pre-programmed programs, or performing a reset. Navigation is done via Mode, Up, Down, and Enter buttons.
- Remote Control: A comprehensive IR remote control provides easy access to all functions. It comes with an insulating foil to prevent battery discharge during storage, which must be removed before first use. The remote uses a 3V CR2025 button cell battery.

- Cooling fans (if present) and ventilation openings should be cleaned monthly to prevent overheating.
- The interior of the fixture should be cleaned annually using a vacuum cleaner or air-jet.
- Clean with a soft cloth and normal glass cleaning fluid; always dry parts carefully.
- Avoid using alcohol or any solvents for cleaning.
- Optical Cleaning:
- External optics should be cleaned at least monthly.
- Internal optics should be cleaned every 30-60 days.
