This document provides an installation guide for the BeefEater Proline Outdoor Kitchen, model BOKP60WG-EU, which includes BM190PWG and BM190PCG components. It is intended for outdoor use only and is designed for personal, domestic, or household use, not commercial use.

Function Description

The BeefEater Proline Outdoor Kitchen is a modular system designed to house a BeefEater Proline BBQ and side burner, creating a complete outdoor cooking station. The kitchen provides a stable and heat-resistant structure for the cooking appliances, along with integrated storage compartments. It is compatible with specific BeefEater Proline BBQ and side burner models, including BSL158SA, BSH158SA, BSW318SA, BSL158SB, BSH158SB, and BSW318SB. The design allows for the integration of a counter top, heat-resistant bracket, carcass top, back, divider panels, base, shelf, kicker plate, side panels, and waterfall elements. It also includes provisions for door assembly with both regular and eccentric hinges, and adjustable feet for leveling. An optional LPG cylinder storage location is provided, with specific ventilation requirements depending on the installation environment.

Usage Features

The outdoor kitchen is designed to be a functional and aesthetically pleasing addition to an outdoor living space. Its modular construction allows for a structured assembly process, ensuring all components fit together correctly. The adjustable feet enable precise leveling of the cabinet, which is crucial for proper installation and to ensure adequate clearance for the waterfall component. The kitchen can be configured as an island, but specific ventilation requirements for LPG cylinders must be met, potentially requiring a vented door kit if the back ventilation is restricted. For areas that are not enclosed, a 9kg LPG cylinder may be stored within the cupboard, provided these instructions are followed. However, if the Proline BBQ is installed in a semi-enclosed area, the LPG cylinder must be located remotely in an unenclosed area, with piping installed by a licensed gas fitter. The kitchen is highly recommended for use with Natural Gas (NG), but an LPG conversion kit is supplied with the BBQ if needed. An LPG gas hose connection kit (Part No. A19112301) is available separately for connecting the Proline side burner and BBQ to an LPG cylinder. If a gas cylinder is not used, the designated hole can be covered with an ABS cover.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of the outdoor kitchen. The manual emphasizes that the BBQ installed within the kitchen must be serviced only by a qualified and licensed person. For cleaning the kitchen surfaces, warm soapy water and a soft cloth are recommended. It is crucial to avoid bleach-based cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or sharp objects (e.g., scrapers) as these can cause damage. The manual also provides instructions for addressing potential gas leaks, including shutting off gas, extinguishing open flames, opening the hood and kitchen doors, and immediately contacting the gas supplier or fire department if the odor persists. To minimize exposure to elements and ensure years of trouble-free operation, it is advised to store the barbecue under cover once it has cooled and been cleaned. Polyester/Vinyl barbecue covers are available as optional accessories. The warranty explicitly states that lack of maintenance, abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, or improper installation can void the warranty. It also clarifies that scratches, dents, corrosion, or discoloration caused by heat, abrasive or chemical cleaners, or chipping on porcelain parts are not covered. Corrosion or damage due to elements, grease fires, insects, weather, or hail is also not covered, reinforcing the need for proper covering when not in use. Cleaning and normal wear and tear are considered chargeable service calls. For cast iron plates, grills, and burners, rust should be removed with a scrub pad and the surface coated with cooking oil, as detailed in the owner's manual.
