This sound uses two 921B VCOs, with dierent waveforms, and sounds best if one is slightly detuned. They both feed the 904A LPF, and their relative levels can be
adjusted with the CP3A-M mixer as required. The 904As output is fed to a 902 VCA, whose amplitude is controlled by the rst 911 EG
To obtain the percussive edge this 911’s settings should be T1 (attack) 2ms, T2 (decay) 200ms, T3 (release) 200ms, E sus(tain) 4 seconds
The 904A is modulated by a slow sine wave from the 921 LFO and by the 2nd 911 EG, which should have settings around T1 (attack) 1 second, T2 *(decay) 50ms, T3
(release) 4 seconds, E sus(tain) 9
Harmonic Sequence
In this patch the 960 Sequential Controller plays two eight note sequences which are harmonically related. Row A controls the rst block of 921A/921Bs;
and Row B controls the second. Row C is not used.

The 921A/Bs controlled by Row A are fed into the 904A LPF via the rst CP3A-M mixer, which allows the levels of the 921Bs to be adjusted; those controlled by Row B
are similarly mixed and fed to the 904B HPF.
The outputs of the two lters are each fed to a 902 VCA. These are controlled by two of the 911 EGs. These, and a third 911 used for modulation, receive their s-trigger
from the 961 Interface, via a multiple. The 961 takes a v-trigger from the Osc Out of the 960 and converts it.
The Aux output of the 921 LFO, set to Sub, is fed to the rst input of the 992 Control Voltage Interface. The third 911 mentioned above is fed to the fourth (attenuated)
input. The output of the 992 is fed to the Control Inputs of both lters.
The eect produced is that as one sequence becomes louder through opening the lter the other becomes quieter, so that they swap places. Altering the Fixed
Voltages on the lters and the attenuation of the third 911 varies the eect.
As an alternative Row C of the 960 could replace the third 911; or be used alongside the two other modulation sources.
