 Enabling Position
1. Go to MenuSettingsSettingsLocation SwitchOn;
2. Press programmable key [Location On/Off];
3. Via the programming software to enable it.
 Viewing Position
1. Viewing the radio’s position: Go to the MenuSettingsSystem
InfoLocation Data; and then view the location information of your radio
(including its data, time, longitude, latitude, speed, altitude, and number of
visible satellites).
2. Viewing the contact’s position: Go to the MenuSMSNew SMS, and
inputting query command, and then send to target radio;
 Sending Position Message
To send your location information to a private contact by message: Go to
MenuSettingsSystem InfoSend Location SMS
Location Report
The location report feature allows the radio to report its location information to
the control center. If you configure the GPS trigger via the programming
software to allow the radio to report the location data automatically according
to the preset connect counts or PTT counts.
Note: GPS Positioning is an optional feature.
