LOCK-OFF AND TRIGGER SWITCHES
The grass trimmer is equipped with both a lock-o and trigger switch.
To turn the grass trimmer ON:
1. Press the lock-o switch (2) Fig. 10.
2. While continuing to press the lock-o switch, squeeze the variable speed trigger
switch (1).
3. The variable speed trigger switch delivers higher speed with increased trigger
pressure/lower speed with decreased trigger pressure.
4. When the grass trimmer starts, release the lock-o switch while continuing to
squeeze the variable speed trigger switch. The grass trimmer will continue to
run. To turn the grass trimmer OFF, release the variable speed trigger switch.
NOTE: To restart the grass trimmer, press the lock-o switch and squeeze the
variable speed trigger switch.
REMOVING THE TRIMMER LINE SPOOL
WARNING: Remove the battery from the tool before attempting to replace the
trimmer line spool.
1. Press the spool locking buttons (1) & (2) on
either side of the spool housing (2) (Fig. 11).
NOTE: There are two spool locking buttons
located on opposite sides of the spool housing.

2. While pressing both spool locking buttons,
pull the spool cap (3) out of the spool housing
(Fig. 12).
3. Pull the empty spool (4) upward to remove the
spool and any remaining trimmer line from the
spool housing (Fig. 13).
4. Once the empty spool has been removed from
the spool housing, use a soft brush to remove
any debris from the spool housing.
