CORRECTING A JAMMED OR SHORT TRIMMER LINE
Under certain conditions, the trimmer line may become jammed or too short.
In either case, the line may fail to advance properly. If this happens, correct this
situation as follows:
Trimmer line breaks o inside the spool housing
Remove the battery, remove the spool from the spool housing, unwind
approximately 3" (7.6 cm) of line and reinstall the spool.
NOTE: Remove any debris from the spool housing and spool before
reinstalling the spool.
Trimmer line breaks o inside the spool housing and jams onto the spool
Remove the spool from the spool housing, unwind all the trimmer line from
the spool and rewind the trimmer line onto the spool.
NOTES:
a) Remove any debris from the spool housing and spool before reinstalling
the spool.
b) Carefully wind the trimmer line onto the spool evenly to avoid overlapping
wraps that will cause further jamming.
