Open Display Properties by right-clicking on the Windows desktop and selecting Properties from the pop-up menu.
Use the slider in the 'Screen area' section to adjust the screen resolution. Select the recommended resolution then click Apply.
Click OK then Yes to confirm the new screen resolution settings.
Close the Display Properties window to finalize the adjustment.
Double click the Display icon in Control Panel to access display settings.
From the Display Properties window, select the Settings tab and click the Advanced button.
Select the Adapter tab, and choose an appropriate refresh rate to match factory modes.
Click Change, OK, then Yes to apply the selected refresh rate.
Close the Display Properties window to complete the refresh rate adjustment.
