4. System Overview
4.1. Principle
The Benson automated plasma viscometer uses a regulated vacuum to pull fluid samples
through a calibrated capillary tube to determine a fluids viscosity. The precise time of the fluid
passage between two predetermined positions and the capillary tube is measured and the fluid
viscosity calculated.
