7.3 Symbols on the packaging
The following symbols are located on the packaging. Always heed sym-
bols during transport.
The tips of the arrows indicate the top of the package. They must always
point up or contents could be damaged.
Keep packages dry and protect from wetness.
Identifies packages with fragile or sensitive contents.
Handle the package with care, do not drop it, and keep it from being
bumped.
7.4 Transport
Shipping items attached to pallets can be transported with a forklift un-
der the following conditions:

The construction of the forklift truck must be appropriate for the
weight of the units under transport,
¡
The item must be firmly secured to the pallet.
1. Drive the forklift truck forward, positioning the forks between or be-
neath the pallet rails.
2. Drive forward until the forks protrude from the opposite side.
3. If the center of gravity is off-center, make sure the pallet cannot over
balance, by applying restraint straps.
4. Lift the pallet with the item and begin transport.
