6 - Engine Release 00 Date 02/2005
– Remove the Seeger ring and push the piston pin out of the
piston. Remove the piston.
Removing the timing chain and gear
– Loosen the two screws 1 and remove chain guard 2.
– Remove the timing chain.
– Remove screws 3 and 4, pull the chain stretcher and the chain
guide up and out of the crankcase.
– Remove Seeger ring 5.
– Fit the puller and remove the timing gear from the crankshaft.
