7. Initial use
You can power the device using the battery or the mains adapt-
er supplied.
Charging the battery
You must fully charge the battery for approx. 90 minutes before
the first use. The operating period of the device is approx. 60
minutes when it is fully charged.
How to charge the battery:
1.
Ensure that the device is switched o before charging the
battery.
2. Connect the mains adapter to a suitable socket.
3. Plug the other end of the mains adapter into the connection
socket on the underside of the device. The charge indica-
tor will start to flash. The battery indicator displays the cur-
rent battery state in percent. As soon as the battery is fully
charged, the charging indicator illuminates continuously.
4.
Once the charging process is complete, pull the mains adapter
out of the socket and the device.
Quick charging
If you have forgotten to charge the shaver before use, the quick-
charge function can help. Connect the device to the power sup-
ply. The device will be ready for a complete shave via battery
operation within 5 minutes.
Mains operation
To operate the device with the supplied mains adapter, proceed
as follows:
1. Connect the mains adapter to a suitable socket.
2. Plug the other end of the mains adapter into the connection
socket on the underside of the device. The battery indica-
tor shows you the current battery state in percent and the
