Overview

This document serves as the user manual for the BidetMate 700 Series Electronic Bidet Seat, providing comprehensive instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance.

Function Description

The BidetMate 700 Series offers a range of hygienic and comfort functions. Its primary function is rinsing, which includes both bidet and hip rinsing options. The rinsing force can be adjusted by rotating a knob, and the nozzle performs a self-cleaning cycle for 5 seconds when the knob is turned to initiate rinsing.

The device also features temperature regulation for both water and the seat. Water temperature can be set to approximately 35°C (low) or 38°C (high). For models with a dry function (BM-700U-E), warm wind temperature can be adjusted to approximately 33°C (low), 38°C (mid), or 43°C (high), with specific temperatures varying based on ambient conditions. Seat temperature can be set to approximately 33°C (low) or 37°C (high). These temperature settings are controlled via functional setting keys.

Additional features include a massage rinse function, activated by pressing the control button during rinsing, and a light control system that allows users to cycle through different lighting modes (knob light on/night light on, knob light off/night light on, knob light off/night light off) by holding the control button.

The device incorporates several protection functions:

  • Anti-splash function: If the knob is not completely closed, the device will alarm and automatically initiate self-cleaning.
  • Water temperature protection: If the water temperature exceeds 43°C, it automatically switches to self-cleaning and requires a power cycle to reset.
  • Low temperature scalding protection: After 5 minutes of seating, the seat temperature automatically switches to a low temperature scalding protection mode.

In the event of a power failure, the device can still perform rinsing with normal temperature water, though water and seat temperature adjustments are unavailable.

Usage Features

The BidetMate 700 Series is designed for ease of use, with clear instructions for installation and operation. Before use, it's crucial to ensure the plug is dry when connecting to power. Upon connection, a "bi" sound indicates readiness. Default settings include a water temperature of approximately 35°C and a seat temperature of approximately 33°C. The knob light and night light are constantly on by default.

Installation involves several steps, starting with removing the old toilet cover and placing a mounting template. The expansion bolt, fixing plate, and adjusting sheet are then secured. The bidet seat is pushed onto the fixing plate until a "click" is heard, indicating proper installation. Water connection involves closing the main water valve, installing the braided hose (straight end for European ceramics, elbow end for American ceramics), and then installing the T-junction, typically on the angle valve or under the inlet valve if space is limited. After installation, the angle valve is opened to check for leaks, and the knob is turned to check for nozzle protrusion before plugging into power. It's important to turn the knob to extend the nozzle before plugging in to protect internal circuits.

Safety precautions emphasize proper grounding, avoiding water splashing, and using the correct power supply. Users are warned against disassembling or modifying the product, pulling the power plug with wet hands, or connecting to substandard water pipes. The device should not be placed in direct sunlight or in environments below 0°C to prevent freezing. Urine should not be showered on the bidet body or nozzle to avoid blockages.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of the BidetMate 700 Series. Manual cleaning of the spray tube involves gently pulling out the nozzle and wiping it with a soft cloth, sponge, or small brush dipped in neutral detergent.

The filter screen requires periodic cleaning, especially if water flow is reduced. Before cleaning the filter screen, the corner valve must be closed, and the power turned off. The product should be separated from the water inlet hose during cleaning. The filter screen is then reinstalled in reverse order.

For general surface cleaning, the product should be unplugged. A soft cloth dampened with room temperature water and a pea-sized amount of mild soap (labeled "for use on all surfaces") can be used. All soap residue should be removed with a clean sponge or cloth. The upper cover and seat ring should be lifted when cleaning other parts. It's important not to replace the cover until any cleaning agent in the ceramic toilet is completely washed away to prevent corrosion.

The leakage protector should be checked monthly. This involves pressing the "Reset" button (indicator light on, power on) and then the "Test" key (indicator light off, power disconnected). If an error occurs, the product should not be used, and service should be contacted. The leakage protector indicator light must always be on during operation.

For long-term storage or during winter (below 0°C), the product should be drained and unplugged. This involves pulling the power plug or pressing the "Test" key, removing the water inlet hose to empty it, and draining internal water by removing the bottom nut. For extended non-use, the angle valve should be closed, and the electronic seat cover removed by pressing the removal button and sliding it forward. The cover should then be stored in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting guides are provided for common issues such as beeping sounds, water leakage, seat heating failure, flushing failure, night light issues, and warm wind malfunction, offering possible causes and solutions.
