Overview

This document is a user's guide for the BidetMate BM-2000P bidet, providing comprehensive instructions for its installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. It also includes important safety information and warranty details.

Function Description

The BidetMate BM-2000P is a smart toilet seat designed to enhance personal hygiene with various washing and drying functions. It offers a continuous warm water supply for a comfortable experience throughout the wash cycle. The bidet features a "Power Wash" for a soft yet powerful cleansing, and a "Bubble Wash" that aerates the water for added comfort. For a more dynamic cleaning, the "Massage" function moves the nozzle back and forth, and the "Pulse" function cycles water pressure from weak to strong. After washing, a "Dryer" function provides warm air to complete the cleansing process. The bidet also incorporates a "Deodorization Function" with a semi-fundamental deodorizing filter to ensure an odor-free experience during use.

Usage Features

The bidet is operated via an intuitive control panel. To begin, users must sit on the toilet seat, activating the user sensor; functions will not work if the sensor is not occupied. Once seated, users can select from "Wash," "Bidet," or "Power Wash" functions. After any wash cycle, the dryer function activates automatically. The "Dry" button can also be pressed independently, and the dryer temperature is adjustable using the "HI" and "LO" buttons. For a sitz bath, pressing "Wash" again after an initial wash will activate a 5-minute sitz bath at a set temperature.

The "Stop" button halts all operations, and holding it for 3 seconds turns off the unit. The "Massage" button initiates an oscillating nozzle movement for a wider wash range, which can be stopped by pressing the button again. The "Pulse" button, when pressed during a wash function, provides pulsating water pressure. Water pressure can be adjusted using the "HI/LO" buttons, which offer 5 levels of intensity. The nozzle position is also adjustable with the "FR/BK" buttons.

For children, a dedicated "Child" function adjusts nozzle position, water pressure, and seat temperature to a lower, safer setting. The bidet also includes "Energy Saving Functions" to optimize power consumption. An "Automatic Energy Saving" mode heats the seat to a minimum temperature when unoccupied and returns to the pre-designated temperature when in use. A "Learning Energy Saving" mode tracks user patterns over 5 days, adjusting energy output accordingly and releasing the function 15 minutes before anticipated use. This mode keeps the pre-designed temperature for an hour, after which it reverts to energy-saving mode. The energy-saving function can be canceled by pressing the button three times. The bidet utilizes an instant water heating method, which means it does not consume electricity to operate the water heater when not in use.

A "Night Light" feature, a blue LED, provides sufficient illumination without needing to turn on bathroom lights, and can be toggled on/off by holding the "HI" button for three seconds when the bidet is not occupied. The bidet also allows users to save their preferred washing water pressure and nozzle position for "Wash," "Bidet," and "Power Wash" functions by holding the respective wash button for 3 seconds during operation. This ensures that even if another user changes settings, the bidet will revert to the saved preferences when the original user gets off the seat.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of the BidetMate BM-2000P. The guide provides instructions for cleaning the water pipe filter, which involves closing the water feed valve, disconnecting the water supply hose, removing and cleaning the screen filter with a soft brush, and then reassembling.

Nozzle cleaning is also detailed: while not sitting on the seat, pressing the "Wash" button three times will extend the nozzle to its maximum distance for easy manual cleaning with an unused toothbrush. After 2 minutes, or by pressing the "Stop" button, the nozzle will retract and perform a self-cleaning operation.

For cleaning the bidet body, users are advised to use a soft cloth dampened with room temperature water and a pea-sized amount of soap labeled "for use on all surfaces." All soap residue should be removed with a clean sponge or cloth. It is important not to spray water directly onto the surface and to ensure the power plug is removed from the outlet before cleaning to prevent electric shock. Care should be taken to avoid dropping chemical detergents or toilet cleaner on the water supply hose or other parts of the product, and the cover should not be closed until cleaning agents in the toilet bowl are completely washed away to prevent corrosion. The deodorizer cartridge can be cleaned with a dry, soft brush to remove dust and does not require replacement.

For draining the hot water tank, the power plug should be removed, the water feed valve closed, and the release button on the side of the main body pressed. During winter or extended periods of non-use, the unit can either remain plugged in and turned on, or be unplugged and drained. The manual also includes a self-diagnosis table to help identify issues based on LED blinking patterns and other symptoms, guiding users on when to request repair service.
