What to do if my Bien Air Dental equipment process stops when pressing the Start/Stop switch?
    • D
      Donna GrantAug 8, 2025
If the process stops when you press the Start/Stop switch, all Line Selection Lamps blink, and a triple beep sounds, it could be due to several reasons: * The front door might be open. Ensure that the front door is properly closed and press the Start/Stop Switch again. * The front door might be dislocated, or the hinge might not be inserted properly. Remove the front door and reinstall it, ensuring the hinge is inserted straight until it snaps on. * The door seal might be partially removed. Reinstall the door seal properly.

Why does my Bien Air Lubricare 2 HIM-2 release oil mist and make installation surfaces oily?
    • J
      Judy HansenAug 12, 2025
Oil mist release and oily installation surfaces can occur due to several factors: * The handpiece shape may cause more oil scattering during maintenance. Reduce the air pressure to 0.3 MPa. * The handpiece might be attached in an improper direction. Ensure the handpiece direction is correctly set. * The main unit’s air pressure setting may be too high. Adjust the regulator and set the pressure within the specified range. * If using a straight attachment, a bur might not be inserted. Refer to the user’s manual that comes with the handpiece, as some handpieces may release oil mist if a bur is not inserted.

      Brent MasonAug 16, 2025
If the process stops before lubrication, the selected Line Selection Lamp and corresponding Empty Spray Can Lamp blink, and a short series of beeps sounds, it could be due to these reasons: * The spray can might be empty. Replace the spray can with a new one. * The spray can might not be properly installed. Fix the spray can and spray stand installation. * Compressed air might not be supplied. Connect the air tube correctly. * The air regulator setting might not be within the correct range. Adjust the regulator and set the pressure within the specified range. * The air tube might be bent. • R
      rebecca27Aug 25, 2025
Excessive oil seepage from the connection parts and the handpiece head during normal use can be due to: * Lubrication was not performed in the recommended mode, or chuck lubrication was performed on a handpiece that does not require it. Refer to the user manual that comes with the handpiece for the recommended mode. * The main unit’s air pressure setting is too low. Adjust the regulator and set the pressure within the specified range. * The handpiece was stored with its head down. Store the handpiece in an upright position with its head at the top. * The handpiece was used without wiping excess oil after maintenance. Wipe excess oil from the handpiece with a soft cloth or gauze after maintenance, being careful not to damage the handpiece surface.
