*If adding rear speakers to a bike that did not come equipped with
rear speakers.
The stock Harley wiring setup for rear pods cannot be used with
an aftermarket radio. The workaround for this is to route new rear
speaker wires according to the following speci cations and diagram.

LEFT REAR
SPEAKER
RIGHT REAR
SPEAKER
• Use 8’ of 16 to 18 guage speaker wire to lengthen both pairs of
green and purple wires from new radio.
• Route wire under fuel tank and seat. Use zip ties to secure wires to
frame next to (not not against) battery.
• Refer to Hardwired Connections table on Pages 8-9.
