If the pump motor runs but the outriggers on your Bil-Jax Boom Lift won't extend, consider these potential issues: 1. **Key Switch Position:** Ensure the platform/ground key switch is in the correct 'ground' position. 2. **Hydraulic Oil Level:** Check the hydraulic oil level in the reservoir and add oil if needed. 3. **Limit Switch:** Inspect the boom down limit switch and its wiring. 4. **Hydraulic Gear Pump:** Check the pump; replace if it's hot to the touch. 5. **Selector Valves:** The base selector valve CT2 may be faulty (sticking open); repair or replace the valve. The outrigger selector valve solenoid SOL2 may have failed; replace any faulty wiring or the solenoid itself.
