- Add oil or butter and allow it to heat up for a while. Next, place the food to be
sautéed inside the cooking pot.
- Stir the food inside the pot.
NOTE: Don’t leave your appliance unattended when in Sauté mode. The
Sauté function requires close supervision and needs to be controlled
manually. Use the wooden spatula provided to stir the food in the cooking pot.
Do not use metal utensils as this could damage the non-stick coating.
- When sauté cooking is done, press the Sauté On/Off button again to turn off
the sauté function. The sauté indicator will go out.
NOTE: The multi-cooker will not switch off until it is unplugged.
• Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely when it is not in
use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
• Clean the appliance after every use.
• Do not use abrasive materials, alcohol, gasoline, etc., to clean the appliance.
• Never immerse the housing in water or any other liquids. The housing may
only be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
• To clean the cooking pot, remove it from the housing. Fill with hot water and
soak for a while and then wipe with a sponge to remove any food residues.
Rinse and dry thoroughly before re-using.
NOTE: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning products as they may damage
the non-stick surface of the pot. It must be cleaned gently to avoid damage.
• Clean the glass lid, steam tray, measuring cup, wooden spatula and plastic
spatula in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: Handle the glass lid with extreme care, as it may become slippery
when it is wet.
• Always keep the heating plate in the bottom of the base unit clean from any
food residue or spills. Use a damp, non-abrasive pad or cloth. Keeping the
heatingplatecleanensuresefcientheattransfertothepotduringcooking.
• Always store the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated area. Do not
store outside.
When using your appliance, the following basic safety precautions should always
be followed:

► If the plug of the appliance’s power cord does not t your wall outlet,

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
