The Bio Bidet is a smart toilet seat designed to enhance bathroom hygiene and comfort. It offers a range of features including cleansing, drying, and temperature controls, all managed via a remote control or side control panel.
The primary function of the Bio Bidet is personal cleansing. It provides Wash and Bidet functions, delivering a stream of water for thorough cleaning. When a cleansing function is activated, pressing the button again will cause the nozzle to oscillate back and forth for a wider cleaning range. A third press will stop the oscillation. The Turbo function offers a specialized water spray designed to help relieve constipation.
After cleansing, the Dry function provides warm air for three minutes. The temperature of the dryer can be adjusted using the "+" or "-" buttons on the remote control, with five levels available. For improved drying efficiency, users can lightly wipe away moisture before activating the dryer.
The Bio Bidet also incorporates a Heated Seat with adjustable temperature settings (Off, Low, Middle, High). To prevent low-temperature burns, a safety feature automatically reduces the seat temperature to 35°C (95°F) if the seat is occupied for more than 15 consecutive minutes. Water temperature for the cleansing functions is also adjustable with Off, Low, Mid, and High settings.
For families, the Child Function adjusts settings to a lower pressure, providing a 1-minute bidet cycle, including 30 seconds of oscillating bidet and 30 seconds of bidet pulse. This mode also features an extended nozzle position, lower water pressure, and reduced seat and water temperatures for children's safety and comfort.
The Nozzle Position Control allows users to adjust the nozzle's position across five levels, ensuring optimal cleansing for different body types. Similarly, Water Pressure Control offers five adjustable levels. If water or screen filters become blocked, it may cause low water pressure, indicating a need for maintenance.
A Massage function can be activated during Wash, Bidet, or Turbo operations, causing the water pressure to pulsate between high and low for a soothing wash.
The Night Light feature provides a soft blue LED light, offering enough illumination to see the toilet without needing to turn on the main bathroom light. This can be toggled on and off by pressing the "+" button for three seconds while not seated.
The Bio Bidet is designed for ease of use. All operations are initiated by sitting on the toilet seat, as the Occupied Sensor ensures that functions only activate when the seat is occupied. If the sensor is not engaged, functions will not operate. The Stop button immediately halts all operations. Pressing and holding the Stop button for three seconds will turn the unit off, while a single press of Stop, Wash, Bidet, or Turbo will turn it back on.
Energy Saving Function helps conserve power. The Automatic Energy Saving Mode keeps seat and water temperatures at 89°F and is indicated by a yellow LED. The Powerful Energy Saving Mode turns off the seat and water heaters entirely, indicated by a green LED. Both modes are activated by pressing the Energy Saving button. To deactivate energy saving, the button is pressed until the LED lamp turns off. When the unit is occupied, it adjusts to the preset temperature and returns to saving mode when unoccupied. If seat and water temperatures are off, they remain off.
The Nozzle Cleaning function, when activated while not seated, cleans the nozzle three times, then extends for manual cleaning. After manual cleaning, pressing the STOP button causes the nozzle to clean itself three more times and retract. This function will not operate if the seat sensor is activated.
The Sitz Bath function is activated by pressing the Nozzle Cleaning button during Wash or Bidet use. It switches to a 5-minute Sitz Bath operation with water pressure set to the first level, regardless of previous settings. The Nozzle Cleaning LED turns on during this operation. Pressing Nozzle Cleaning again switches back to normal Wash or Bidet.
The Seat Sensor Bypass feature allows the unit to operate without occupying the seat. This can be activated or deactivated by pressing the Massage button for three seconds. When deactivated, features like Night Light, Silent Mode, and Nozzle Cleaning can be controlled without being seated.
An Automatic Tank Draining feature protects against water contamination by draining and replacing the water tank every two minutes if the seat has not been used for 48 consecutive hours. This feature is deactivated by default and can be activated by pressing the Stop and Water Temp. buttons for three seconds.
The User Preset function allows two different users to store their preferred nozzle position, water pressure, and dry/water/seat temperatures. To preset, users adjust settings to their preference, then press Stop and ▲ simultaneously for Preset 1, or Stop and ▼ simultaneously for Preset 2. Once saved, pressing the corresponding preset button activates the stored settings.
The Reset function can be performed by pressing and holding the Stop button on the auxiliary panel for five seconds. After three seconds, the seat powers off. Continuing to hold for another two seconds will power it back on, completing the factory reset process.
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance. Screen Filter Cleaning involves closing the water valve, disconnecting the water supply hose, removing and cleaning the screen filter with a soft brush, then reassembling and reopening the water valve.
For Extended Non-Use, if the bidet seat will not be used for a prolonged period, it should be unplugged and the tank drained.
Seat Cleaning requires wiping the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth, avoiding abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals. The power plug should be removed from the outlet before cleaning the body, ensuring no water splashes into the plug or outlet. Care should be taken to prevent chemical detergents or toilet cleaner from contacting the main body or supply hose.
Draining of Tank involves removing the power plug, closing the water feed valve, releasing the unit from the catch plate by pressing the release button and gently pulling, and then using a flat-head screwdriver to open the drain plug.
For areas with known hard water issues, an inline carbon filter is recommended, which should be replaced every three months. The product is designed for use exclusively with Bio Bidet water filters, and using other filters may void the warranty.
