Why is my BioLite BaseCamp not charging my devices?
    • T
      Tony ClarkJul 27, 2025
If your devices aren't charging with the BioLite Grill, there are several things to check. First, ensure your device's tech requirements are within the BioLite's charging capabilities. Check the fire heat dashboard indicator; a stronger fire means faster charging. Also, look at the battery charge LED dashboard indicator. If less than two indicators are lit, the battery is low and needs more time to store energy. If two or more indicators are lit, inspect your cable cords. If problems persist, remember that if the BaseCamp hasn't been used in 6 months, it will need extra time during initial use to produce electricity. If the cable cords are working and devices are still not charging, contact BioLite.

To reduce smoke when using your BioLite Grill: * Use smaller pieces of kindling and sticks to build the fire. * Ensure you are collecting and using drier fuel. * Avoid overfilling the stove; remove some fuel to improve airflow. * Try to avoid windy locations when using the grill.

What to do if the flame is too high on my BioLite Grill?
    • M
      Michael PerezAug 10, 2025
If the flame on your BioLite Grill is too high, allow the fire to burn down for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, with extreme caution, remove one or two pieces of fuel from the mouth of the stove (remember that a portion will still be on fire, so be careful!). Extinguish the removed fuel immediately.

How do I stop the fire from coming outside the BioLite Grill?
    • J
      Jason BatesAug 18, 2025
If you notice the fire is coming outside the mouth of the BioLite Grill, try these steps: First, remove ash to make room for new fuel. Next, push the fuel inward, deeper into the mouth of the stove. Finally, use fuel that is smaller in diameter.
