Why is the power light off on my Bionaire Humidifier?

  If your Bionaire Humidifier's power light is off, there are a couple of things you can check. Ensure the humidifier is properly plugged into a power socket and that the humidity control switch is not in the off position. Turn the humidity control switch clockwise to turn it on. Also, make sure there's water in the tank. If the tank is empty, fill it with water and then turn the humidity control switch clockwise.

What to do if the power light is on but no mist is emitted from my Bionaire BU1300W?

  If the power light on your Bionaire Humidifier is on but no mist is being emitted, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the water level might be too high; try pouring some water from the water tank inlet and then replace the tank. Alternatively, the humidity level might be set too low. In that case, select a humidity setting between the Min and Max humidity range.

How to increase mist being emitted from my Bionaire Humidifier?

  If your Bionaire Humidifier isn't emitting much mist, it could be due to a few reasons. The humidity control might have scale buildup, or the water could be dirty or stale; try washing the humidity control and changing the water. Scale might also be covering the transducer; gently clean it with a damp cotton ball, being careful not to apply too much pressure. Also, the humidity level might be set too low, increase the humidity level by turning the Humidity Control Knob from Min to Max.

  If the mist from your Bionaire Humidifier has a bad odor, it could be because the unit is new or the water isn't clean. Try opening the water tank and placing the appliance in a cool area for 12 hours. You can also wash the tank out or change the water.
