Screw the brake pad retaining bolt into the brake caliper. Make sure that it passes
through the ears” of the brake pad carrier. Tighten the brake pad retaining bolt to
a torque of 2.5 Nm.

Clean the brake disc using a cleaning cloth and brake cleaner.

Press the brake pads in the brake caliper apart with the aid of the transport lock and
fit the brake caliper on the brake mounting of the rear stay. Make sure that the brake
disc is correctly seated between the brake pads.

Tighten the brake caliper retaining bolts only until the brake caliper can still be
moved sideways by hand.
Z. Installing the front mudguard
Only use genuine bolts or, if reinstalling used bolts, apply a drop of thread lock (medium strength, e.g. Loctite 243)
to the thread before reusing.
The mudguard stays attaching the mudguard to the suspension fork are slightly shorter than those on the rigid
fork.

Suspension fork: Bolt the metal plate of the mudguard bracket onto the mudguard.
To do this, use a T25 Torx wrench and a size 8 open end wrench and tighten the
connection to a torque of 3 Nm.

Suspension fork: Clamp the mudguard bracket in the middle of the fork bridge.
