If necessary, push the correct number of spacer rings onto the right bearing
shell, if these were installed on this frame before. Screw in the right bearing
shell counterclockwise using the inner bearing tool and tighten it to a torque
of 25 Nm.
Center the axle unit in the bottom bracket shell and fit the inner bearing
assembly tool on the left bearing. Clamp the parts with the inner bearing
assembly press until the axle unit engages in the right bearing shell with a
cracking noise.
In the next step, take care that the inner bearing sleeve does not inadvertently
rotate. Otherwise the cable of the sensor could be sheared off.
If necessary, push the correct number of spacer rings onto the left bearing
shell, if these were installed on this frame before. Screw in the left bearing
shell clockwise using the inner bearing tool and tighten it to a torque of 25 Nm.
