PP. Aligning the front light
Fit the control console on the control console cradle and connect the data cable.
Insert the battery into the battery nest and switch on the lights.
Use the adjustment screw to adjust the center of the light cone until it is
approx. 0.5 m above the ground at a distance of 5 m.
Legal basis StVZO (German vehicle licensing regulations) § 67, paragraph 3
“Bicycles must be equipped with a forward-facing lamp that emits white light.
The light cone must be inclined in such a way that its centerpoint is only half
as high as the point where it exits the lamp at a distance of 5 m in front of the
lamp. The lamp must be fitted to the bicycle in such a way that it cannot be
unintentionally adjusted. Bicycles must be equipped with at least one
forward-facing white reflector.”
Switch off the ebike and unplug the data cable and the control console from the
control console cradle.
Remove the battery from the frame again before continuing work.
QQ. Installing the stem trim
Push the plastic cover onto the stem assembly.
Now tighten the stem clamping bolts alternately and in small increments to a
torque of 10 Nm.
