Insert the thick end of the transport lock into the brake caliper between the
slave pistons and secure it with an elastic band.
(only for front brake caliper)
Align the brake caliper so that the brake caliper retaining bolts are lined up
vertically, exactly one above the other. To do this, detach the brake caliper from
the fork if necessary. The line connection is then at the highest point on the
brake caliper. This is the only way to ensure that the brake caliper can be filled
without air and bled completely!
UU. Preparing the brake lever
Slacken the lower brake lever retaining nut by one to two turns using a T25
Torx wrench.
Swing the brake lever upwards slightly beyond the horizontal position and
retighten the brake lever retaining nut slightly.
