Why is my Birch Barcode Reader not printing?

  There are several reasons why your Birch Barcode Reader might not be printing. Here are a few things to check: * Ensure the interface cable is securely connected. * If using a serial port, verify the cable is pin-to-pin connected, and the serial port settings are consistent between the host and printer. Reset the serial port setting if needed. * Confirm that the correct printer port is selected in the Windows driver. Select the correct printer port in the driver. * If using Ethernet, ensure the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are configured correctly. Configure the IP, subnet mask and gateway.

  If your Birch Barcode Reader has a paper jam, consider the following: 1. Calibrate the gap/black mark sensor, as the sensitivity might not be set properly. 2. Ensure the label size is set correctly in your labeling software. 3. Check for and remove any labels stuck inside the printer mechanism near the sensor area.
