Automatic network configuration (DHCP)
BirdDog Mini will automatically acquire a valid network address
from your network infrastructure, this is known as DHCP.
If your computer network does not have a DHCP server present,
after 20 seconds the BirdDog unit will fall back to a fixed IP
address.
Once the BirdDog Mini has full booted up you can then access the
BirdDog Mini web console via the fall back IP address in your web
browser on a computer with it’s IP address set to the same subnet
range. You may then set the fixed IP address of BirdDog Mini to be
suitable for your network environment.
