What to do if my Bissell 2069H Vacuum Cleaner is not picking up cleaning formula?
    • D
      Denise RobinsonAug 4, 2025
If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up the cleaning formula, ensure the Dirty Water Tank is correctly aligned and secured with the side latches. Also, empty the Dirty Water Tank if it's full. Check if the removable nozzle is full of debris and rinse it under running water after unplugging the unit. Make sure the red lint screen under the Dirty Water Tank isn't clogged, and ensure the ReadyTools dial is set correctly for your desired cleaning method, either “FLOOR CLEANING” or “TOOLS”. Finally, make sure that the removable nozzle is installed properly: unplug the unit and align the four 'hooks' into the bottom first, then snap into place on top.

Why is there reduced spray or no spray from my Bissell 2069H Vacuum Cleaner attachment?
    • B
      Brian ChoiAug 12, 2025
If you're experiencing reduced spray or no spray from your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner attachment, first, refill the Formula Tank with water and formula if it's empty. Next, clean the spray nozzle by rinsing the tool under water. If that doesn't work, try priming the pump by placing the tool on the floor and pressing the spray trigger. Also, ensure the machine is in the full upright position until it locks into place and that the ReadyTools dial is set to “TOOLS” and not “FLOOR CLEANING”.

How to fix reduced spray or no spray in upright mode on Bissell 2069H?
    • C
      Christina ReedAug 22, 2025
If you're getting reduced or no spray in upright mode with your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner, start by refilling the formula tank with water and formula. If that doesn't solve the problem, check the lint screen on the Formula Tank cap for clogs and soak the cap in warm water, then rinse under running water. Finally, ensure the upper body is properly attached by repeating steps 1-4 on page 5.
