      Your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner might not be picking up dirt for several reasons. The dirt cup could be full, so you should empty it. The filter might be dirty, in which case you should check and remove any debris and clean it. Also, ensure the hose is securely snapped into the hose nozzle and that the dirt cup is properly sealed against the canister. Open the dirt cup, ensure the filter gasket is pushed into place, and replace the dirt cup, pressing firmly until the lock button snaps into place. Check for any clogs in the floor nozzle, hose port, crevice tool, and hose, and carefully remove any blockages.
