  Your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner may not be picking up dirt due to several reasons. The filters might be dirty, so remove and rinse the pre-motor filters, letting them dry for 24 hours before reinstalling, and dust off the post-motor filter. There could also be a clog in the vacuum; remove the foot and extension wand from the hand vacuum and check for clogs, clearing them before reassembling. Lastly, ensure the dirt tank is correctly seated by removing and reseating it properly.
