What to do if Bissell COMPACT 48X4 is not picking up cleaning solution?

If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up the cleaning solution, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the collection tank is correctly aligned and secured with the side latches. Also, check if the collection tank is full and empty it if necessary. Another potential issue could be an improperly installed removable nozzle. To fix this, unplug the unit, align the two 'hooks' into the bottom first, and then snap it into place on top. Debris in the removable nozzle or a clogged red lint screen under the collection tank could also be the cause. Unplug the unit, remove the nozzle and rinse under running water, and clear any debris from the lint screen.
