Also, check if the collection tank is full and empty it if necessary. Another potential issue could be an improperly installed removable nozzle. To fix this, unplug the unit, align the two 'hooks' into the bottom first, and then snap it into place on top. Debris in the removable nozzle or a clogged red lint screen under the collection tank could also be the cause. Unplug the unit, remove the nozzle and rinse under running water, and clear any debris from the lint screen.

A clogged spray nozzle can also cause this issue; clean it by rinsing under water. Finally, ensure that the upper handle is in the upright and locked position by rotating the retractable handle lock, pulling the handle up, and returning the handle lock to the locked position.
