  If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner has reduced or no spray, there are several possible causes and solutions: * The spray nozzle might be clogged. Try cleaning it with an unfolded paper clip. * The clean water/solution tank might be empty. Check the tank and fill it if necessary. * The clean water/solution tank insert could be clogged. Clean the insert at the bottom of the tank. * The pump may need priming. Gently lift or squeeze the clean water/solution tank while depressing the spray trigger. * The clean tank might not be fully seated. Remove and reinstall the clean tank to ensure it is properly in place.

Reposition the tool on the surface, following the recommended cleaning procedures. * The dirty water tank might be full. Empty the dirty water tank. * There may be excess solution in the flex hose. Lift the tool and point it upwards to allow water in the hose to flow into the dirty water tank. * You might be using the incorrect cleaning formula. Use only BISSELL 2X Portable Machine formulas. * The dirty tank might be improperly seated onto the base. Remove the dirty tank and reseat it onto the unit. * The dirty tank plug might be unplugged. Push the dirty tank plug in until properly sealed.

  If the dirty water tank of your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner is leaking, here are some possible causes: * The duckbill valve could be dirty. Clean the duckbill valve located at the bottom of the dirty water tank, and ensure it's securely placed back. * The float stack might not be fully locked on the dirty tank. Remove the float stack and twist it until the arrow is aligned with the lock symbol on the dirty tank. * The dirty tank might not be properly seated onto the machine. Remove and reseat it onto the unit.
