  If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner has reduced or no suction, several factors could be the cause. First, the collection tank might be full; if so, empty it. Also, check that the collection tank drain plug is securely fitted. Ensure the collection tank is correctly installed and snapped into place. Finally, weak or undercharged batteries can cause suction issues; recharge them as per the instructions.

  If your Bissell Vacuum Cleaner has reduced or no spray, there are several possible reasons. The solution tank might be empty, so refill it. The pump might not be primed; to prime it, turn on the Spot Lifter, press the spray trigger, and gently rock the Spot Lifter back and forth. A clogged spray tip can also cause this issue; rinse the tip with clean water. Lastly, weak or undercharged batteries can affect the spray function, so recharge them according to the instructions.

  If your Bissell Spot Lifter is not charging, ensure the charger plug is completely plugged into the wall outlet and that the charging cord is completely plugged into the port on the back of the unit. Also, make sure the Spot Lifter is stored with the power switch in the “O” (OFF) position. If the batteries have charging resistance, completely exhaust the battery, recharge it, then exhaust it once again before recharging a second time. This procedure may be required more than once.
