1 Allgemeine Erläuterungen
Verlässliche Angabe zu Prüf- und
Austausch-Intervallen sind nur einge-
schränkt möglich, da die Standzeiten
der Verschleißteile von vielen
Einflüssen abhängig sind.

1 General Explanations
Serious statements on inspection and
replacement intervals are only possi-
ble with restrictions since the lifetimes
of the working parts are determined
by several influences.
Main influences
Operating conditions:
- operating pressures,
- suction and discharge gas tem-
peratures,
- oil temperature
Oil type and operational viscosity
Refrigerant
Liquid thrust rates and intensities
from the evaporator
Cycling rate

1 Généralités
Fixer des intervalles de contrôle et de
remplacement est assez aléatoire car les
durées de vie des pièces d'usure dépen-
dent de nombreux facteurs.

Summary

Inspection and Replacement Intervals

Shaft Seal

Leakage oil quantities up to 0.05 cm³ per hour are permitted. Gas tightness can be detected by a leak detector.

Pressure Relief Valve

The relieve valve has a 28 bar response pressure difference. Repeated opening may result in leakage.

Integrated Check Valve

A check valve protects against reverse rotation during standstill. Check if damaged if reverse rotation occurs.

Oil Solenoid Valve and Oil Stop Valve

During standstill, no oil flow should be visible in the oil sight glass when valves are closed.

Oil Flow Switch

Test the oil flow switch function. Compressor should shut off within 5 seconds after oil supply interruption.

Filter Elements

Filter intervals depend on system contamination. Initial oil filter change recommended after 50-100 operating hours.

Roller Bearing

Bearings are fatigue-resistant; replacement generally not needed if operated within limits and normal conditions.

Coupling (OS. Models) Elastomer Elements

Check elastomer elements for wear by measuring radial distance between marks. Replace if distance exceeds 4 mm.

Further Regular Checks

Operating Data Checks

Regularly check plant operating data including temperatures, pressures, and oil conditions as per regulations.

Protection Devices and Monitoring Parts

Check all protection devices and compressor monitoring parts as per relevant operating instructions.

Screwed Joints and Cable Connections

Verify that screwed joints and electrical cable connections are securely fitted and tightened.

Refrigerant Charge and Tightness Test

Perform checks on refrigerant charge and system tightness to ensure proper operation and safety.

Application Limits and Cycling Rate

Application Limits

Adhere to specified application limits for compressors as detailed in software or brochures.

Cycling Rate

Maximum cycling rate is 6-8 starts per hour. Minimum operating time is 5 minutes for compressor longevity.
