Keep work area clean and well lit. Avoid operating in explosive atmospheres and keep children away.

Do not force the tool, use the correct tool, and control it with the switch. Disconnect battery before adjustments.
Wear ear protectors, use auxiliary handles, and secure the workpiece to prevent loss of control.
Never open batteries. Do not expose to water or store above 40°C. Charge between 10°C and 40°C.
Use only the supplied charger. Do not charge damaged or non-rechargeable batteries. Replace defective cords.

Line up battery with receptacle, slide in until it snaps. Push release button to remove.
Fit the cap (11) to the battery (5) for transportation and storage.
Use keyless chuck for easy bit exchange. Lock tool, open chuck, insert bit, tighten chuck.
Open chuck, remove retaining screw. Use Allen key to strike chuck, then unscrew it.
Press switch to turn on; speed varies with pressure. Release switch to turn off.
Apply light pressure, decrease as bit exits, use wood backing, and select appropriate drill bits.
Use spade/HSS bits for large holes/metal. Use masonry bits for soft masonry. Use lubricant for metals.
Use correct bit size. Apply lubricant if screws are tight. Hold tool and bit straight with screw.
