Why does my Black & Decker TO1160C smell like burnt food?

If your Black & Decker Oven is producing a burnt food odor or smoke, it's likely due to food remnants in the crumb tray or on the oven walls. To resolve this, clean all parts of the oven, baking pan, and rack, following the directions in the CARE AND CLEANING section of the Use & Care manual.
