Labels on tool
The label on your tool may include the
following symbols
Laser radiation.
Do not look into the laser beam.
Do not use optical tools to view
the laser beam.
Position of date barcode
The Date Code, which also includes the year
of manufacture, is printed into the housing.
Example:
2017 XX JN
Year of manufacturing
Electrical safety
This tool is double insulated;
therefore no earth wire is required.
Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or an
authorised BLACK + DECKER Service
Centre in order to avoid a hazard.

Assembly
Warning! Before attempting any of the
following operations, make sure that the tool
is switched o and unplugged and that the
saw blade has stopped.
Removing and fitting a saw blade
(fig. B)
Removing
Keep the spindle lock button (21)
depressed and rotate the blade until the
spindle lock engages.
Loosen and remove the blade retaining
screw (15) by turning it counterclockwise
using the hex wrench (14).
Remove the outer washer (16).
Remove the saw blade (9).
NOTICE: Never engage the spindle lock
while the saw is running. Never turn the saw
on while the spindle lock is engaged. Severe
damage to the saw may result.
