What to do if my Black+Decker Vacuum Cleaner steam mop is not producing steam?
- JJessica MooreJul 26, 2025
If your Black+Decker Vacuum Cleaner steam mop isn't producing steam, first ensure the water tank is full. Note that it may take up to 45 seconds for steam to be produced when first filled or after running dry. Also, check that the steam generation button is in the ON position. If the steamer overheats, it will switch off. If this happens, turn off and unplug the steamer, allow it to cool for 2 to 4 hours, and then try again.
