  If your Blagdon Pump Water Pump won't start, it could be due to several reasons. The air valve assembly might be malfunctioning, or there could be an obstruction in the fluid line or diaphragm chamber. A diaphragm failure, diaphragm seal failure, or an air valve system malfunction could also be the cause. Even air connected to the exhaust could prevent the pump from starting. To resolve this, check the carrier for freedom of movement, clean, oil, and replace parts as needed. Clear any obstructions in the fluid line or increase the line size. Replace the diaphragm or shaft seals if they've failed. Also, check all seals in the valve chest assembly and ensure the air is connected to the inlet, not the exhaust.
