See separate instructions enclosed in the packaging.
Handing over the system
Explain to the user how the boiler and tting work. Familiarise the user with their
usage.
Point out potential hazards to the user, especially the risk of scalding.
Hand over these instructions, the instructions for the tting and the instructions
enclosed with any other system components.
9. Taking boiler out of operation
Disconnect the boiler from the mains connection by pulling out the plug.
Empty the boiler – see Maintenance chapter.
Important
If the boiler is to be disconnected from the mains for a longer period of time,
it is recommended to rell the boiler or ush it out with fresh water (at least 5

12. Maintenance
WARNING - scalding
When carrying out maintenance or repair work to the hot water system, the
hot water boiler must be disconnected from the mains connection and the
corner valves must be closed. This not only applies to the hot boiler itself,
but also when work is carried out on the tting, safety assembly module
and other components.
When working on the tting, hot water boiler or safety assembly module,
you must also ush out hot water from the boiler or empty it (see Section 12.1
Emptying the hot water boiler).
WARNING - electric shock
Only trained technicians may carry out maintenance work and they must
observe safety regulations.
WARNING - electric shock
It is forbidden to open the boiler.
CAUTION - burns
The tubes from the boiler can be very hot.
12.1 Emptying the hot water boiler
1. Disconnect the hot water boiler from the mains connection.
2. Flush the hot water out of the boiler (open the tting tap to let
out hot water until only cold water comes out).
3. Close water feed to the corner valves.
4. Open the screw connections on the boiler tubes.
WARNING - scalding
Never open the screw connections on the boiler tubes if the boiler is still hot.
A large quantity of hot water and steam can leak out due to the sudden drop
in pressure.
CAUTION - scalding
Hot water may come out when the boiler is emptied.
Store a dismantled system in a frostproof place since there may be water left in
the boiler or tting, which may freeze and cause damage.
