Using the BT Drive Free 311
After the pairing and the phone book transfer have been completed suc-
cessfully and the battery has been charged, the following functions can be
executed:
Making a call
– Voice dialling
The connected cell phone must support voice dialling and the function
must be activated. The voice commands for the contacts must have been
saved in the cell phone. You nd the pertinent information in the operating
instructions of the cell phone.
To activate voice dialling, brie y press the MF button in standby mode.
You hear two short tones and the display shows "Voice Dial". Say the voice
command as it has been recorded for this contact in the cell phone. After
the voice command has been recognized, the cell phone dials the number
associated with it.
– Redialling the last number
In standby mode, press the MF button twice. The display shows "Redial"
and the last dialled number is dialled again.
– Calling a contact from phone book
This function is only available if the phone book of the connected cell
phone has been transferred to the BT Drive Free 311. In standby mode, hold
the "–" button pressed for 3 seconds to open the phone book. The display
shows the rst phone book entry. If the phone book was not transferred,
the display shows "Not Found". Select an entry with the buttons "+" and
"–". Brie y press the MF button to call the displayed number.
– Calling an entry from the call list
The BT Drive Free 311 stores the last 10 rejected or unanswered calls in
a call list. In standby mode, hold the "+" button pressed for 3 seconds to
open the call list. The display shows the rst entry. If no call was stored,
the display shows "Not Found". Select an entry with the buttons "+" and
"–". Brie y press the MF button to call the displayed number.
