Switching on/off
The device is ready for operation when
the blue button 1 on the device is illumi-
nated.
➮ To switch on the device, press the
POWER button 1 on the re-
mote control or the button 1 on
the device.
The device switches on.
➮ To switch off the device, press the
POWER button 1 on the re-
mote control or the button 1 on
the device.
The device switches off.
Using for the first time
If you are using the ME2 for the first
time, you must insert the batteries into
the remote control.

first time
Inserting the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment by
detaching the lid.
2. Insert the new batteries. Battery
type: two AAA-type batteries. Make
sure the battery terminals are posi-
tioned as shown in the diagram in
the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Using the remote control
Point the remote control at the sepa-
rate infrared receiver or at the infrared
receiver on the front of the device.
Angle of operation: approximately 30˚
in all directions from the front of the IR
receiver.
